Hartselle junior Zack Hill won all four of his matches in the Hartselle Tiger Duals Saturday at the Pettey Center.
The dual tournament featured wrestlers from Hartselle, Athens, Buckhorn and Wayne County, Ky.
Ethan Hamilton went 3-1 for the Tigers, while seventh grader Matt Watson, Daniel Nicholson, Kyle Davis, freshman Allen Durham and sophomore Garriet Baldwin all went 2-2 in the dual tournament.
The Tigers are missing several wrestlers who were expected to be major contributors this season, including Barrett Eubanks, who is expected to have knee surgery soon.
Hartselle had just three juniors in the tournament along with several seventh and eighth graders.
The Tigers’ lack of experience has hurt the team’s scoring early this year. Hartselle has wrestlers in seven or eight of the classifications in each mat.
Other Hartselle wrestlers who competed in the tournament were Luke Chaffee, Theo Dame, Dalton Nagel, Cody Anders, David Filiatrault and Devin Malone.
Hartselle wrestlers will compete at Fort Payne this afternoon in a tri-match that will include with Gordon Lee High School of Georgia. The Tigers will compete in the Buckhorn Border Wars Saturday.
