Funeral for Joe Unruh, 26, of Hartselle was Wednesday, Dec. 19, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ron Teal officiating.
Burial was in McKendree Cemetery.
Mr. Unruh died Saturday, Dec. 15, 2007, at his residence. He was born March 16, 1981, in New York to Jerold John Unruh and Yong Mi Unruh
. He was serving on active duty in the U.S. Navy as a nuclear electrician’s mate on a submarine.
He was a Christian.
He is survived by his wife, Valorie Anders Unruh; his parents; and a sister, Christine Unruh.
Pallbearers were Josh Guthrie, Mike Burg, Daniel Guthrie, Devon O’Hara, Jamie Pike, James Hunt, Greg Miller and Spencer Miller.
