Funeral for William Wayne Vaughn, 72, of Decatur was Wednesday, Dec. 19, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Chris Martin officiating.
Burial was in Center Springs Cemetery.
Mr. Vaughn died Monday, Dec. 17, 2007, at his residence. He was born Aug. 24, 1935, in Morgan County to Ollie OBell Vaughn and Breather Gertrude Dunnaway Vaughn.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Lois Vaughn of Decatur; two sons, Steve Vaughn of Priceville and Forest Vaughn of Hartselle; a daughter, Jolanda Vaughn of Priceville; a sister, Donna Evans of Somerville; and three grandchildren, Relde Vaughn, Victoria Vaughn and Nicholas Vaughn.
Pallbearers were Tony Smith, Eric Cathcart, Jay Kempson, Jimmy Webster, Chris Basden and Ray Dolan.
