Funeral for Amberly Nicole Peppers, 16, of Priceville was Wednesday, Dec. 26, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home with the Rev. Jason Moore officiating.
Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery in Decatur.
Miss Peppers died Saturday, Dec. 22, 2007, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born Aug. 23, 1991, in Morgan County. She was a member of Cave Springs Baptist Church and a sophomore at Priceville High School where she was a sergeant in the Junior ROTC program. She was dearly loved by all. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Glenn Thrasher and James D. Peppers, her stepgrandfather, Darrell Johnson, and best friend, Nicole Jernigan.
She is survived by her parents, Phillip and Sylvia Peppers of Priceville; a sister, Amanda Peppers of Priceville; and grandmothers, Faye Higginbotham of Decatur and Shirley Johnson of Falkville.
Pallbearers were J.C. Martin, Jeremy Pannell, Bruce Stephens, Larry Waddell, Charles Black and Brandon Hawkins.
