Funeral for John William Grant, 76, of Falkville was Tuesday, Jan. 1, at 1 p.m. at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home with Randy Key and David Hale officiating.
Burial was in Ebenezer Cemetery in Falkville.
Mr. Grant died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2007 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was a carpenter. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, Eskel Grant, Everett Grant, Enos Grant, Melton Grant and Vernon Grant and four sisters, Virgie Drinkard, Tressie Caver, Willie Lott and Mildred Hardin.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Ruth Grant of Falkville; a son, Michael A. Grant of Falkville; two daughters, Teresa Jordan and husband Dennis of Valhermoso Springs and Margaret Miller and husband Allen of Jasper; a sister, Ruby Howard; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a special friend, Dale Weaver of Falkville.
