Funeral for Howard R. Higdon, 76, of Priceville was Saturday, Jan. 5, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Charles Smith and Bro. J.B. Snyder officiating.
Burial was in Burningtree Memorial Gardens in Decatur.
Mr. Higdon died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2008, at his residence. He was born July 20, 1931, in Morgan County to Robert W. Higdon and Reathie Ila Moses Higdon.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Higdon of Priceville; two sons, Wayne Higdon and wife Mary of Hartselle and Michael Ray Higdon and wife Teresa of Decatur; two daughters, Sandra Faye Goodwin and husband Anthony and Rhonda Jean Higdon, all of Decatur; a brother, Frank Higdon of Decatur; a sister, Fleta Atkins of Decatur; and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Chad Collins, Christopher Higdon, David Higdon, Ricky Miller, Randy Miller and Greg Cobble.
Donations may be made to AlaCare Hospice.
