Funeral for LaMerle Todd Mitchell, 77, of Falkville was Sunday, Jan. 6, at 1:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. John Crawford and Shawn Kennedy officiating.
Burial was in Falkville City Cemetery.
Mrs. Mitchell died Thursday, Jan. 3, 2008, at D.C.H. Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. She was born Sept. 22, 1930, in Marion County to Joseph David Todd and Era Etta Rye Todd. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Falkville and was preceded in death by two sisters, Vernice Terry and Jo Anne Lawrence.
She is survived by her husband, Cecil Mitchell of Falkville; a son, Stanley Cecil Mitchell of Town Creek; a daughter, Blenda Mitchell of Montgomery; a sister, Joyce Anders of Hartselle; four grandchildren, Brandon Dillard, Michael Oliver, Suzanne Lynn and Danielle Mitchell; and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Brandon Dillard, Blake Oliver, Mark Peck, Mark Lynn, David Anders and Sammy Anders.
