Funeral for Lillie Mae Wilhite Powell, 75, of Falkville was Wednesday, Jan. 9, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Pearl Jenkins and Bro. Charlie Brown officiating.
Burial was in Roundtop Cemetery.
Mrs. Powell died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2008, at her residence. She was born May 7, 1932, in Alabama to Grover Daniel Powell and Della Elizabeth Milligan Powell. She was a Baptist and was preceded in death by a son, Harold Wilhite.
She is survived by two sons, Charlie Wilhite and wife Carol and Jerry Wilhite and wife Linda, all of Falkville; two daughters, Rosetta Whitehead and husband Rodney of Foley and Jean Pike and husband Clay of Falkville; two sisters, Elvina Hutchison of Tennessee and Louis Nails of Cullman; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Chad Wilhite, Ernie Cramer, Zack Whitehead, Daniel Fowler and Buck Orr.
