Funeral for Paul Blagburn, 44, of Trinity was Saturday, Jan. 5, at 11 a.m., at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Steve Agee, David Stidham and Pearl Jenkins officiating.
Burial was in Somerville Church of God Cemetery.
Mr. Blagburn died Monday, Dec. 31, 2007, in Limestone County. He was born March 1, 1963. He was a loving father, son and friend. He was an avid hunter, golfer, fisherman and Alabama Crimson Tide fan. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Odell and Ethel Turner; a brother, Clifford Stanley Blagburn Jr.; a half-brother, Rodney Clem; and his grandparents.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Blagburn of Trinity; two sons, Andrew Jones and Tyler Jones, both of Trinity; a daughter, Sarah Jones of Trinity; his birth father, Clifford Stanley Blagburn of Nashville, Tenn.; his birth mother, Mary Joyce Clem of Trinity; a brother, Kenneth Blagburn of Vinemont; a half-brother, Chris Blagburn of Nashville; five sisters, Arthenia Turner of Somerville, Josephine Turner and Ludell Hopkins, both of Gainesville, Fla., Linda Sharp of Tuscumbia and Anetia Koch of Memphis, Tenn.; three half-sisters, Michelle Blagburn, Wendy Kilpatrick and Nikkie Clem, all of Trinity; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends who loved him very much.
Pallbearers were Lavoyd Lemmond, Gary Taylor, Ivan Halbrooks, Dustin Halbrooks, Derik Halbrooks, James Houser, Mike Posey, Terry Freeman, Will Bradford and Forrest Ford.
Honorary pallbearers were William Freeman, Larry Freeman and David Turner.
