Two precincts changed, voters list published

Two voter precinct location changes have been made in preparation for the Feb. 5 Presidential Primary Election, according to Morgan County Probate Judge Greg Cain.
The location of Precinct 13-1 (old Somerville Courthouse) has been changed to the Somerville Area Volunteer Emergency Services (S.A.V.E.S) new fire station on Cutoff Road. The courthouse was closed last year due to restoration work.
The location of Precinct 25-1 is now designated as the Eva Volunteer Fire Department instead of New Eva Town Hall even though voters will cast their ballots at the same location as they used in prior elections.
Cain said approximately 63,200 Morgan Countians will be eligible to vote in the Presidential Primary, the hours of which will be from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Results will be posted on www.morgancountyprobate.com as they are received from the county’s 45 precincts and verified.
A copy of this year’s Morgan County voters list is included in today’s Enquirer.
