Verdie Belle Garrison

A graveside service for Verdie Belle Garrison, 84, of Priceville was Monday, Jan. 7, at 2 p.m. at Turney Cemetery with Bro. A. Ray Lee officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Garrison died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2008, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born Aug. 9, 1923, in Morgan County to Alonzo and Susan “Sadie” Cryer. She was retired from GTE Automatic Electric. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Blanche Grady, and her husband, Homer Lyle Garrison.
She is survived by a son, Neito Ray Garrison of Priceville; three daughters, Vivian Yvonne Glasscock of Madison and Carolyn Kay Garrison and Neoma Lee Sullins, both of Priceville; two sisters, Ruth Lucas of Tennessee and Beatrice Turney of Somerville; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were family members and friends.
