Falkville woman charged after raids

A Falkville woman is one of seven people arrested last month in connection with drug sales in Decatur.
Stacy Dawn Rothe, 24, of 5222 Huckaby Bridge Road, is charged with possession of marijuana in the second degree and possession of drug paraphernalia. She is also charged with two misdemeanor warrants.
Rothe was arrested following Jan. 11 searches of five locations in Decatur and Trinity by the Decatur Police Department’s Organized Crime Unit and the Madison Morgan County HIDTA Unit. The units had conducted undercover operations targeting the sale of illicit drugs throughout November and December. Marijuana, drug paraphernalia and cash were seized during the raids.
Four Decatur residents and two San. Jose, Calif. residents were also charged in connection with the investigation. Their charges range from distribution of a controlled substance to marijuana possession.
