Quentin Lafett Hendrix

Funeral for Quentin Lafett Hendrix, 88, of Somerville was Tuesday, Jan. 15, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Pastors Eldridge Criscoe and Harry Saint officiating.
Burial was in West Point Cemetery . Mr. Hendrix died Sunday, Jan. 13, 2008, at Decatur General Hospital. A member of West Point Baptist Church, he was a devoted husband, caring father, grandfather and great-grandfather and a life teacher to generations and to all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl Avis Henderson Hendrix.
He is survived by a son, Lafett Hendrix of West Point; a brother, William Audrey Hendrix of Florida; a sister, Mae Hendrix Pritchett of West Point; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
