Funeral for William Franklin Moore, 82, of Falkville was Saturday, Jan. 12, at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Falkville with Bro. Brian Murphy officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Falkville City Cemetery.
Mr. Moore died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2008, at his residence. He was a member of Falkville Lions Club and was preceded in death by a brother, Howard Moore, two sisters, Ester Vest and Alene Moore and a grandson, Kevin Murphy.
He is survived by two sons, Randy Moore and wife Kelly of Martin, Tenn. and Tim Moore and wife Stephanie of Falkville; a daugher, Margaret Murphy and husband Virgil Oneal of Falkville; two sisters, Johnnie Faye Mayhugh of Kentucky and Sara Mooney of Pinson; five grandchildren, Brian Murphy, Susie Dean, Sydney Moore, Lindsey Moore and Dustin Forsthe; three great-granddaughters, Brianna Dean, Summer Dean and Autumn Murphy.
Pallbearers were Robbie Vinzant, Brad Vest, Dustin Vinzant, David Curry, Dustin Forsthe and J. L. Pike.
