Funeral for Kenneth Hurlock, 45, of Danville was Wednesday, Jan. 23, at 11 a.m. at Reeves Funeral Home in Hope Mills, N.C. with the Rev. Grover Blackburn officiating.
Burial was in Cumberland Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Hurlock died Friday, Jan. 18, 2008, in a truck accident in Birmingham. He was born May 10, 1962, in Fayetteville, N.C. to the late William M. and Gerda Hurlock. He was a graduate of Dougals Byrd High School, Class of 1980. He was a truck driver and trainer for over 20 years after an initial career as a carpenter in the housing industry.
A loving man, Ken was devoted to his family, including a deceased son, Ken Hurlock Jr., a daughter, Stevie Renee Hurlock, a brother, Billy Hurlock, and three sisters, Angie LaHood, Cora Drake and Delores Carter.
In lieu of flowers, memorial made be made to the Ken Hurlock Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, P.O. Box 614, Hartselle, AL 35640.
