Funeral for Lois Key Chenault, 82, of Danville was Saturday, Jan. 19, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Wayne Turner officiating.
Burial was in Hartselle City Cemetery.
Mrs. Chenault died Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2008, at her residence. She was born Oct. 11, 1925, in Lawrence County to Custer B. Key and Ellie Elizabeth Hunter Key. She was a member of Valley Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kyle Chenault and three brothers, Irvin Key, Loyd Key and Cloyd Lee Key.
She is survived by two daughters, Shelba Jean Sims and husband Jackie of Hartselle and Kylene Chenault of Danville; and five grandchildren, Justin Sims and Tiffany Sims, both of Hartselle and Emily Sims, Joshua Sims and Shay Stover of Decatur.
Pallbearers were Dewayne Sims, David Sims, Justin Sims, Joshua Sims, Mike Darnell, Frank Darnell and Marty Peebles.
The family expresses special thanks to Tim Dixon, Kelly McNutt and Patsy Self for their loving care.
