Maurice William Turnbull, 87, of Hartselle died Thursday, Jan. 24, 2008, at Cedar Springs Senior Campus.
Peck Funeral Home handled local arrangements.
Mr. Turnbull was born March 30, 1920, in Ohio to William Turnbull and Mena Holland Turnbull. He was a U. S. Navy veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Vivian Turnbull of Hartselle; two sons, Robert Earl Turnbull of Hartselle and Paul Lucas Turnbull of Dallas, Tex.; two daughters, Leah Mae Flatcher of Cleveland, Ohio, and Maureen D. Smith of Hartselle; a brother, John Turnbull of Cleveland, Ohio; a sister, Ruth Lewis of Mesa, Ariz.; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
