Theatre hosts auditions for “Alice in Wonderland”

The Backstage Theatre in Decatur has announced auditions for its upcoming production of “Alice in Wonderland.” They will be held Feb. 2 at Studio One Playhouse, located at 214 E. Moulton St. Groups of five will be scheduled every 30 minutes, beginning at 9 a.m.
Those auditioning will read from the script and will need to have a prepared song (preferably from a musical). There are over 30 roles available for children through adult ages. Directed by Daniel Martin, the musical will be performed on three weekends, beginning May 2.
