Funeral for Tom Bowers, 55, of Hartselle was Saturday, Jan. 26, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ralph Henderson officiating.
Burial was in Hartselle Memory Gardens.
Mr. Bowers died Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2008, at his residence. He was born Jan. 20, 1953, in Illinois. He was a disabled employee of the City of Hartselle where he worked as a heavy equipment operator.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Jewell Sims Bowers of Hartselle; his mother-in-law, Lucille Sims of Hartselle; sisters-in-law, Debbie Sims of Denver, Colo. and Kathie Sims of Decatur; a brother-in-law, Greg Lee of Denver, Colo.; two nieces Lydia and Cathy Willson, both of Denver, Colo.; two nephews, Michael Sims of Decatur and David Lee of Denver, Colo.; two great nephews, Thomas Oskel and Gage Willson, both of Denver, Colo.; and a great niece, Aspen Oskel of Denver, Colo.
Cousins were pallbearers.
