Funeral for T/Sgt. Larry Paul “Mr. Fix-It” Blevins, 57, of Vinemont was Sunday, Jan. 27, at 2 p. m. at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Jerry Lake, John B. Blackwood and Tommy Blackwood officiating.
Burial was in Central Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Belvins died Thursday, Jan. 24, 2008, at Jackson Memorial Hospital. He was born Dec. 5, 1950, to Ted and Nell Blevins. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, George “Sonny” Blevins; a sister, Aline Roberts; and a grandson, David “D.J.” Tilley Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Louise Blevins; a son, Jerry Baker; two daughters, Lisa Tilley and husband David and Tonya Harper and husband Joey; two sisters, Geri Morrison of Texas and Jean Davis of Florida; seven grandchildren, Dezerah and Ondreya Harper, Austin Quick, Tyler Baker, Morghan Hailey and Jonanthan Tiilly.
Honorary pallbearers were Erick Harbison, Chuck Harbison, Lamon Hayes, Robert Hoffman, Danny Quick and Neal Jacobs.
