Oris Grisham Deffenbaugh

Funeral for Oris Grisham Deffenbaugh, 71, of Hartselle was Saturday, Feb. 9, at 11 a.m. at Autumnwood Baptist Church in Decatur with the Rev. Curtis Davis, her nephew, and Dr. Harold Fanning, her pastor, officiating and Roselawn Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Deffenbaugh died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2008, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born Dec. 8, 1936, in Lauderdale County to Tom and Octavia Grisham. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Thomas Grisham.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Billy H. Deffenbaugh of Hartselle; three sons, Mike Deffenbaugh and wife Beverly of Toney, Mark Deffenbaugh and wife Dannie of Pensacola, Fla. and Donnie Deffenbaugh and wife Julie of Springhill, Tenn.; a daughter, Kelly McMurry and husband David of Hartselle; two sisters, Betty Lee of Rogersville and Annette Kilgore of Jacksonville; and nine grandchildren, Rebecca, Megan and Charlie Deffenbaugh, Kristen and Jenna Deffenbaugh, Daniel and Hannah Deffenbaugh and Amy and Michael McMurry.
Pallbearers were nephews, Tony Davis, Johnny Davis, Mark Grisham, Tom Kilgore, Mike Murray, Roger Deffenbaugh, Marty Deffenbaugh and Barry Deffenbaugh.
Grandsons were honorary pallbearers.
