Gladys Louise Garrison Hopkins

Funeral for Gladys Louise Garrison Hopkins, 84, of Falkville was Sunday, Feb. 17, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Greg Compton officiating.
Burial was in Herring Cemetery.
Mrs. Hopkins died Friday, Feb. 15, 2008, at her residence. She was a member of Mt. Nebo Baptist Church and was retired from Alabama Farmers Cooperative. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by a son, Allen Niles Hopkins; two brothers, Therron Garrison and Ronnie “Butch” Garrison; and two sisters, Hazel Garrison and Hollie Vinson.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, James Hillard Hopkins of Falkville; a daughter, Charlotte Hopkins Beavers and husband Ron of Falkville; two brothers, Aimuel Garrison of Moulton and Taldon Garrison of Mt. Hope; two sisters, Lorene Caden of Muscle Shoals and Bert Pickens of Mt. Hope; two granddaughters, Bethany Smitherman and husband Jarrod of Cullman and Emily Beavers of Falkville.
Nephews were pallbearers.
Memorials may be made to Mt. Nebo Baptist Church or Hospice of the Valley.
