Funeral for Bobby J. Long, 76, of Decatur was Sunday, Mar. 2, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Michael Gunter officiating.
Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Long died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born July 23, 1931, in Morgan County to Charles Walter Long and Thena Ellen King Long. He was a disabled U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and a Baptist.
He is survived by two brothers, Hoyt Long of Hartselle and Billy Long of Decatur; and a sister, Emma Parker of Birmingham.
Family members and friends were pallbearers.
