Two charged after drug investigation

The Morgan County Drug Task Force and the Decatur Police Department arrested two Decatur residents last week, charging both with drug-related crimes.
Task force members joined the police in an undercover operation throughout the month of February in connection with the sale of illegal drugs. Officers searched at home at 303 Courtney Drive SW. Apt. 46. Crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia and money were seized at the apartment.
Arrested were Tommy Lee Nicholas, 39, and Romonia Traycene Madden, 41. Nicholas is charged with three counts of distribution of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a controlled substance and resisting arrest. His bond was set at $5,750. Madden was charged with distribution of a controlled substance. Her bond was set at $1,500.
