Adell Sims White

A graveside service for Adell Sims White, 88, of Hartselle was Tuesday, Mar. 11, at 11 a.m. at Johnson Chapel Cemetery with the Revs. Robert Gordon and Jack Redfearn officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. White died Sunday, March 9, 2008, at Hartselle Medical Center.
She was born July 8, 1919, in Morgan County to George A. Sims and Mattie A. Wallace Sims.
She was a member of West Hartselle Baptist Church. She was retired from Morgan County/Hartselle City Schools after 37 years of service. Her husband, V. E. “Crook” White, preceded her in death.
She is survived by two daughters, Venita Jones and husband Gwen and Kathy White Goodwin, all of Hartselle; three grandchildren, Matthew Jones and wife Mitzi of Frankenmuth, Mich. and Jill Adell Jones and Franklin White Goodwin, both of Hartselle.
Honorary pallbearers were Billy Sims, Johnny Sims, Jackie Sims, Ed Sims, Don Sims, George White, Gary White, Mike Jones and Earl Cook.
