Funeral for Christine Allen Sharp, 94, of Somerville was Tuesday, March 11, at 11 a.m. at Somerville Church of God with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.
Mrs. Sharp died Saturday, Mar. 8, 2008, at Parkway Medical Center in Decatur. She was born Jan. 26, 1914, in Morgan County to Steven Eli Allen and Ora Lee Breeding Allen. She was a member of Somerville Church of God and was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Sharp.
She is survived by two sons, James Allen Sharp and wife Barbara of Moscow, Tenn. and Arlo Sharp and wife Kay of Somerville; a brother, John Allen of Somerville; a sister, Eloise Maples of Somerville; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great- grandchildren.
Grandchildren were pallbearers.
