Two charged with drug offenses

The Morgan County Sheriff’s Department made two arrests last week for drug-related offenses. Felix Franco is charged with trafficking in methamphetamine. Franco was arrested by the Morgan County Drug Task Force and Morgan County Sheriff’s Office for allegedly trafficking some two ounces of methamphetamine. Franco, 18 and a resident of Marshall County, is being held on $10,000 bond. Agents also seized a Denali GMC truck and money. In a separate arrest last week, Jason Horbeck, 21, was arrested and charged with marijuana possession in the first degree, unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. The arrest followed a search of his apartment 114 in Dover Glen Apartments in Decatur.
He is being held on $2,300 bond.
