City orders lighted Christmas decorations
By Staff

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas - at least it will soon in downtown Hartselle.
The city is spending $7,500 to purchase Christmas decorations for downtown Hartselle. A variety of multi-colored lighted ornaments have been ordered, with one to be placed on each lightpole.
That’s not the only upgrade planned for downtown. The bid opening for the repair to downtown canopies is April 3. The work is scheduled to get started this summer.
