Funeral for Eloise Morris, 81, of Hartselle was Sunday, March 16, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Michael Hunter officiating.
Burial was in Hartselle Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Morris died Wednesday, March 12, 2008, at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born May 22, 1926, in Cullman County to Sylvester Pickett Mercer and Ella Mae Miller Mercer. She had lived at 110 Booth Street in Hartselle for 48 years and had been employed as a cafeteria worker for the Hartselle School System. Her husband, Elbert Elvin Morris preceded he r in death.
He is survived by two sons, Charles Terry Morris of Minnesota and Phillip Allan Morris of Hartselle; a daughter, Ella Morris Kirby of Hartselle; a brother, Warner Mercer of Cullman, a sister, Inez Wilkins of Cullman; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Phillip Morris, Joe Sanford and Johnny Kirby.
