Funeral for Lulu M. Johnson, 91, of Hartselle was Sunday, March 16, at 3 p.m. at Mt. Tabor Methodist Church with pastor Steve Breece officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in the adjoining cemetery. Mrs. Johnson died Thursday, March 13, 2008, at Midwest City, Okla. She was born Feb. 4, 1917, in Alabama to Ira Isaac George and Ida Jane Helton George.
She is survived by three daughters, Betty Proctor of Midwest City, Okla., Virginia McCormick of Greenwood, La. and Susan Fritz of Chehalls, Wash.; a sister, Edna Ambrose of Great Falls, Mont.; six grandchildren, David Jackson, Mike Cross, Dan McCormick, Kristi Bradley-Robbins, Heidi Pickering and Holly Guillickson; a step-grandson, Richard Jobe; and 14 great -grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Rick Proctor, Terry McCormick, Helmuth Fritz and Tom Bennich.
