Funeral for Redding Morgan, 78, of Danville was Sunday, Mar. 23, at 2 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tom Campbell and Mike Nix officiating.
Burial was in Caddo Congregational Christian Cemetery. Mr. Morgan died Thursday, Mar. 20, 2008, at his residence. He was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his loving wife, Frances Watson Morgan of Danville; six sons, Kenneth Morgan and wife Sherry, Timmie Morgan and wife Rebekah and Charles Morgan and wife Robin, all of Danville, James Morgan and wife Sheila of Athens, Billy Joe Morgan and wife Sue of Hartselle and Robert Morgan and wife Patricia of Moulton; four daughters, Elizabeth Self and husband David and Joyce Moore and husband James, both of Danville, Susan Breeding and husband John of Somerville and Rosa McAbee and husband Jason of Hartselle; 35 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Derek Morgan, Anthony Morgan, Daniel Morgan, Clint McAbee, Michael Self and Jared Moore.
