Funeral for Elsie L. “McMinn” Aday, 92, of Eva will be Friday, April 4, at 2 p.m. at Eva United Pentecostal Church with Bro. Gregory Wilbanks and Bro. Jim Hampton officiating.
Burial will be in Lawrence Cove Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday (today) from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Aday died Monday, Mar. 31, 2008, at her residence. She was born January 1, 1916, in Oklahoma to John Walter McMinn and Maudie Mae Shedd McMinn.
She is survived by a son, Verlon Aday of Mentor, Ohio; a brother, Edward P. Suites of Oden Ridge; two sisters, Mary McElwey of Vinemont and Robbie McCorkle of Falkville; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Lenard Gibbs, J.L. Parker, Donnie Ozbolt, Thadus Drinkard and Randy Ash.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Hospice of North Alabama, 3311 Bob Wallace Ave., Suite 101, Huntsville, AL 35805.
