Funeral for Anthony Justin Taylor, 21, of Decatur was Saturday, April 26, at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel in Decatur with Pastor Donald Smith officiating.
Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. Taylor died Wednesday, Apr. 23, 2008, at University Hospital in Birmingham. He was born Dec. 26, 1986, in Alabama to Hoytman Taylor and Sandra Barnes Taylor. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Hoytman and Elsie Taylor Sr.
He is survived by his mother, Sandra Taylor of Hartselle; his father, Hoytman Taylor Jr. of Decatur; a brother, Russell Taylor of Hartselle; his grandparents, Bobby and Thelma Barnes of Hartselle; a niece; a nephew; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pallbearers were David Barnes, Dennis Barnes, Jim Barnes, Peter Pan “Nate” Davenport, Derick Smith and Justin Baker.
Honorary pallbearers were Blake White, Bobby Barnes and Brandon Perry.
