A graveside service for Juanita W. Jacobs, 79, of Decatur was Saturday, May 3, at 3 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery with Richard Chandler officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Jacobs died Thursday, May 1, 2008, at Summerford Nursing Home in Falkville. She was born Sept. 17, 1928, in Morgan County to Frederick Granville Williamson and Thelma Berry Williamson. She was a member of Beltline Church of Christ and a lifelong family genealogist. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmothe, and great-grandmother and had numerous friends. She was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Beverly Jean Tapscott and Shirley Ann Franklin.
She is survived by a son, Jeffery Wade Jacobs of Moulton; two daughters, Patricia Emilie Jacobs and Anita Jacobs Kimball, both of Decatur; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
