Funeral for Cathy Moore Reeves, 55, of Somerville was Monday, June 9, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Michael Gunter officiating.
Burial was in New Center Cemetery.
Mrs. Reeves died Saturday, June 7, 2008, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born Feb. 12, 1953, in Madison County to Garland Moore and Lola Pence Moore. She retired from Sanmina SCI where she worked as a quality control inspector and was a member of the Old Center Missionary Baptist Church. She was a faithful, loving wife to her husband Stanley and was always there for him as a pastor’s wife or just to simply support him in his gospel music ministry. Her grandchildren called her “Nana” and she loved them dearly.
She is survived by her husband, Pastor Stanley Reeves of Somerville; two stepsons, Marty Reeves and wife Angie of Mt. Hope and Chad Reeves and wife Talisa of Hartselle; two brothers, Jimmy Don Moore of Hazel Green and Darryl Moore of New Hope; a sister, Linda Martin of New Hope; three grandchildren, Anna Rachel Reeves, Sarah Beatrice Reeves and Tripp Lennox Reeves;
Pallbearers were Dan Reeves, Mike Reeves, Steve Reeves, Ben Engle, Sammy Engle and Aaron Clark.
