Funeral for Bonnie M. White Cannon, 85, of Somerville was Tuesday, June 17, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charlie Brown officiating.
Burial was in Burningtree Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Cannon died Saturday, June 14, 2008, at her residence. She was a member of Somerville Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Grigsby Cannon; a brother, William Porter “Buddy” White; and a sister, Irene McElyea.
She is survived by three sons, George Grigsby Cannon, Roger Wayne Cannon and wife Diane and William Charlie Cannon, all of Somerville; six daughters, Mary Ann Turner and husband Roger of Anderson, Betty Sue Puckett and husband Eugene and Donna Lynn Cannon, all of Somerville, Martha Jane Massa and husband Jerry of Arab and Judy F. Ransom and husband Davie and Bonnie Ruth Brock and husband Tim, all of Elkmont; three sisters, Inez South, Florissa Stevens and Marie Trowbridge, all of Athens; 23 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren and five stepgreat-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Daniel Holladay, Greg Massa, Brian Turner, David Ransom, Josh Cannon, Christopher Cannon and Tim Turner.
