Funeral for Connie Brown Anders Harper, 66, of Decatur was Wednesday, June 18, at 3 p.m. at Falkville First Baptist Church with the Revs. Perry Brown and Shawn Kennedy officiating and Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Falkville City Cemetery.
Mrs. Harper died Sunday, June 15, 2008, at Decatur Health &Rehab surrounded by her family. She was a member of Falkville First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for more than 40 years. She was a former member of the Association of Operating Room Nurses and a member of the national, state and county Association of Realtors.
She is survived by her husband, William “Bill” Harper Jr. of Decatur; a son, Freddie Anders of Falkville; a stepson, William A. Harper III and wife Amanda of Florence; two daughters, Sabrina Anders Holmes and husband Ronnie and Martha Ellen Anders, both of Decatur; two stepdaughters, Penny Sterling and husband John of Danville and Misty Harper of Decatur; a brother, Tommy M. Brown and wife Beth of State Center, Iowa; three grandchildren, Jessica Member of Huntsville and Abrey Holmes and Jackson Jones, both of Decatur; and six stepgrandchildren. Pallbearers were Charles Brown, Neal Buckelew, Larry Buckelew, Ricky Hyche, David Hobbs and Jimmy Teague.
