Teague is state’s top high school student

Josh Teague, a recent graduate of Bethel Baptist School, is Alabama’s Outstanding Christian High School Student of the Year. He was presented the award by Robin Mears, executive director of the Alabama Christian School Association. The award is based on personal testimony, school, church and community service, achievements of the state and national level, grade point average, ACT and SAT scores, a student essay and school recommendation.
Tegue plans to attend the University of Alabama and major in telecommunications and film. He received a four-year scholarship to UA.
He is the son of Royce Teague of Decatur and Jackie Teague of Somerville.
