James B. ‘Bunk’ Patton

A graveside service for James B. “Bunk” Patton, 89, of Falkville was Tuesday, July 1, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Union Hill Cemetery near Eva with Bro. Heath Williams officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Patton died Sunday, June 29, 2008, at Summerford Nursing Home. He was born Feb. 21, 1919, in Morgan County to Herman Patton and Leona Shikle Patton. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred Faye Patton of Falkville; a son, Gary Don Patton of Eva; a daughter, Nancy Diane Patton Moore of Eva; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were David Patton, Eric Moore, Kevin Moore, Steve Moore, Phillip Gorham and Earl Miller.
