Funeral for Johnny Keith Childers, 55, of Hartselle will be Thursday (today), July 10, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Curtis Stanford officiating.
Burial will be in Cook Cemetery.
Mr. Childers died Monday, July 7, 2008, at Hartselle Medical Center. He was born July 25, 1952, in Morgan County to Brady Childers and Bessie VaNell Turney Childers. He was a member of Mt. View Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Greg, Steve and Anthony Childers and a sister, Suzanne Childers.
He is survived by two sons, Johnny K. Childers II of Hartselle and Rex Blaine of Hartselle; a half-brother, Lewis Childers of Florida; two half-sisters, Betty Childers and Dorothy Childers, both of Florida; and a grandson, Hunter Childers of Hartselle.
