Man charged with sex crimes

A Houston man was arrested in connection with a string of sex crimes.
Joe Wayne Hill, 37, of 888 County Road 361, was arrested July 18 in Decatur. He is charged with two counts of rape in the first degree, one count of rape in the second degree, two counts of sodomy in the first, one count of sodomy in the second and two counts of sexual abuse in the first.
Sheriff’s officials said the arrest stems from an investigation into child molestation that began in April. Hill was indicted by a Morgan County Grand Jury earlier this month.
Hill was taken to Morgan County Jail where he was later released on $10,000 bond.
