Funeral for Thelma Duise Carr, 70, of Falkville was Monday, July 28, at 2 p.m. at Andrews Chapel Baptist Church with the Revs. Randy Glover and Jamie Suggs officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mrs. Carr died Friday, July 25, 2008, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born March 22, 1938, in Lawrence County. She was a member of Andrews Chapel Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her father, Louis L. Asherbranner, her husband, Vernon Carr, and two sons, Gary and Tommy Carr.
She is survived by her husband, Lonnie Doyle White of Falkville; a son, Danny Carr of Fayetteville, Tenn.; a daughter, Jennifer Aldridge of Vinemont; a stepson, Jeff White of Danville; two stepdaughters, Nichole McClesky of Decatur and Brandy Liverett of Gum Springs; her mother, Irene Asherbranner Cutchens of Falkville, two brothers, Leon Asherbranner and Willard Asherbranner, both of Falkville; four sisters, Shelby Wittenberg of Mansfield, Pa., Gerldene Hughes and Betty Fairbanks, both of Falkville, and Doris Crowe of Hartselle; six grandchildren; and four step grandchildren.
Nephews were pallbearers.
