Free prostate screenings offered

If you are male and more than 40 years old, are African-American or if you have relatives with prostate cancer, you will want to attend the free prostate screenings being offered by Decatur General Hospital.
The free screening will include a PSA blood test and an examination. Prostate cancer education will be presented by Michael Hardacre, M.D. at the Turner Surles Community Center in Decatur on Aug. 23 from 8 a.m. – noon.. Screening appointment and education will take approximately 45 minutes. Exhibits and Refreshments will be provided. Call 341-2616 to schedule an appointment.
