Funeral for James H. “Jim” Baker, 80, of Hartselle was Saturday, Aug. 2, at 4 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Milan Dekich officiating.
Burial was in Hartselle City Cemetery.
Mr. Baker died Wednesday, July 30, at Summerford Nursing Home. He was born Jan. 14, 1928, in Nashville, Tenn. to Fred G. Baker and Marie Kimbro Baker. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Bob Baker and Don Baker.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Baker of Hartselle; a son, Mike Baker and wife Cindy of Hartselle; a daughter, Sharon Baker Barnett and husband John of Redondo Beach, Calif.; a sister, Alice Taber of Smyrna, Tenn.; and three grandchildren, Aaron Baker, Weston Baker and Mandy Rowe.
Pallbearers were friends and family.
