Danville man faces meth charges

A Danville man was among those arrested in connection with a methamphetamine lab discovered in Decatur last week.
Patrick Wade Durbin, 23, of 206 Hunter Lane in Danville, is charged with unlawful manufacture of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Thomas Charles Austin, 49, of 8th Street SE in Decatur, and Stephanie Jones Davenport, 22, of 236 Harthige Dr., Decatur, face the same charges.
The arrests followed a tip to the Decatur Police Department of a possible methamphetamine lab at 2007 8th Street SE, Decatur. Officers noticed a strong chemical odor at the home and later determined there was a clandestine meth lab at the home.
Methamphetamine, drug use and sale paraphernalia and meth chemicals and components were found. The home was later determined to be unsafe for habitation.
All three of the suspects were taken to the Morgan County Jail on $8,000 bond.
