A graveside service for Evelyn Johnson Black, 91, of Madison will be Thursday (today), Aug. 14, at 11 a.m. at Decatur City Cemetery with the Rev. John Holman officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Black died Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2008, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born May 27, 1917, in Morgan County to William Ervin Johnson and Ora Lee Brown Johnson. She worked as a clerk in the Morgan County Courthouse and was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin T. Black, and her parents.
She is survived by a daughter, Jen Roblee of Madison; and two grandchildren, Brandon Martin and Wes Martin.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Martin, Wes Martin, Greg Lane, Bobby Russell, David Grove and Roy Ridgeway.
