Helen Sharp Henderson

Funeral for Helen Sharp Henderson, 85, of Somerville was Saturday, Aug. 16, at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Hartselle with Dr. Jeff Redmond and Dr. Ron Wilson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Henderson died Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2008, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born Feb. 9, 1923, to Johnny Clarence Knighten and Thelma Lee Grady Knighten.
She is survived by a daughter, Linda Dunlap and husband Tommie of Decatur; a granddaughter, Dr. Page Dunlap of Decatur; three sons, Terrell Sharp, Conrad Sharp and the Rev. James Henderson, all of Somerville; a special friend, Bill Daves; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Family members and friends were pallbearers.
The family requests that memorials be made to the music department or Building Fund at First Baptist Church of Hartselle or the Morgan County Humane Society.
