SFC Ronald Crow

A memorial service for SFC Ronald Crow of Dahlonega, Ga., formerly of Hartselle, was Tuesday, Sept. 9, at 7:30 p.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Hartselle.
SFC Crow died July 21, 2008, from cancer. He was a 1981 graduate of Hartselle High School and a military science instructor at North Georgia University. He served for 23 years in the U.S. Army, with tours in Germany, Kosovo and Iraq.
Funeral for SFC Crow was conducted by Bannister Funeral Home in Dohlonega, Ga. on July 25, 2008.
He is survived by his former spouse, Lanita Merritt, his children, Rebecca Moore and Alexandria Leigh Crow, both of Decatur, and Ronald Preston Crow of Camp LeJune, N.C.; a sister, Patricia King of Hartselle; and a brother, Sherrell Crow of Burke, Va.
