Weddings

Tanner, Vinzant wed
Leslie Ann Tanner of Danville and Robert Charles Vinzant Jr. of Falkville were wed June 14 at Falkville First Baptist Church.
The bride is the daughter of Jim and Karen Tanner of Danville. The groom is the son of Robert and Anne Vinzant of Trinity.
The wedding was officiated by Rev. Shaun Kennedy.
The bride was escorted by her father.
She wore a strapless princess cut gown with a sweetheart neckline. The gown was embellished with beading and embroidery. The same embellishment flowed to the semi-cathedral train and fingertip-length veil. The bride carried red roses.
Maid of honor was Tara Tatum of Cleveland. Bridesmaids were Christy Drake of New Market and Valerie Vinzant, sister-in-law of the groom, of Hartselle. Junior bridesmaid was Abbey Sims, cousin of the bride, of Fairview, Tenn.
Flower girl was Audrey Simms, cousin of the bride, of Fairview, Tenn.
Dusty Vinzant, brother of the groom, of Hartselle, was best man. Groomsmen were Ryley Smith, cousin of the groom, of Falkville; Chris Dutton of Falkville; Steven Ziaja of Falkville; and Christ Thrasher of Jasper. Ushers were Justin Tanner, brother of the bride, of Cullman; PFC Jared Tanner, brother of the bride, of Danville; and John Tanner, brother of the bride, of Decatur.
John Tanner was candlelighter.
Pam Blevins and Hannah Blevins provided music.
A reception followed in the church’s fellowship hall.
The wedding was directed by Joni Simms and Anita Self. Assisting with the reception were Jane Ann Lee, Bonnie Thompson, Darlene Williams, Laney Taylor, Kathy Taylor, Johnna Watts, Nina Halbrooks, Beverly Duran, Logan Smith and Meagan Barnes.
Nina Halbrooks attended the bridal book. Bubble attendants were Abbey Simms of Fairview, Tenn. and Audrey Simms of Fairview, Tenn.
After a honeymoon trip to California, the couple will reside in Falkville.
