Funeral for Earsel Ellen Puckett, 80, of Eva was Sunday, Sept. 14, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Andrew Siegenthaler officiating.
Burial was in Lawrence Cove Cemetery.
Mrs. Puckett died Thursday, Sept. 1, 2008, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born March 31, 1928, in Morgan County to John C, Mooney and Florence Taylor Mooney. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Gwen Puckett.
She is survived by two sons, Jerry Puckett of Decatur and Tony Puckett and wife Irma of Bossier City, La.; four daughters, Marjean Shumate and husband Bud of Union Grove, Geraldine Vaughn and husband Edward of Guntersville, Gwendolyn Hays and husband Randy of Holly Pond and Kathy Eddleman and husband Darrell of Eva; a brother, Talmadge Mooney of Hartselle; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great- grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Shannon Shumate, David Eddleman, Joe Puckett, Earnie Ragsdale, Jason Smith and Allen Kimbrough
Honorary pallbearers were Kenneth Maze and Charles “Randy” Busby.
